The Change Of Fates – Poker

People have always searched for more convenient methods of making money. The easiest, yet the riskiest way to make stacks of money is by gambling. You are putting all on the line to win money by playing games against your opponents. And risking all your money doesn’t get any more exciting than playing Poker.

This is a game that was invented in the early 19th century somewhere in the United States and has existed for so long that its popularity has helped change many fates. By simple card games and mental tricks, this number’s game has brought many people from rags to riches.

A Game Of Strategies

Poker is one of the most strategic games out there. You look at the opponent and his reactions more than the cards you are holding in your hand.

Poker is a simple yet very breathtaking game. You need the best “Hand” to win the match, this means that your cards must match the cards put out by the distributor, or they make the best sequence out of all the other players. There are many sequences in Poker from high to low. This is what makes it interesting.

Playing Poker

You start by holding two cards in your hand, which you don’t show anyone and place a bet if you think you can risk it. The distributor then puts out three community cards, and these are the cards every player can see and match their rank with the cards that they are holding in their hand. That is when the player knows if it is safe to bet or not.

After placing the bet or letting it pass by saying “check,” the distributor puts out another community card from the main deck. Here the player sees again if it is creating a right hand for him or not and also simultaneously noticing the reactions and expressions of his opponent to understand if he has a better grip or not. Those that think that this is not working out for them and their hand cannot be stronger than the other players, they “Fold,” which means they withdraw from all possible actions that will take place in that round.

To stay in the round, the other players must be the same amount as that which has been placed, or they are out of the round. Once an equal or higher bet has been placed, the distributor reveals the fifth and final community card. This is when the players reveal their cards and whoever has the best hand, takes all the winnings known as the “Pot.”
